List of Burns players
The following is a list of Burns players [1] alphabetized by surname. The Burns company was founded in London by James Ormston Burns (1925–1998) and its guitars are still in production today.
A-E
- Andy Bell (b.1970), bass player for Oasis and Ride owns a black Club Series Bison bass.
- Boz Boorer (b.1962), co-songwriter with Morrissey during his solo career, uses a white Club Series Bison 64 and a blue Custom Elite Sonic.
- Peter C. Budd (Roy Budd's Brother). Used a VibraArtist and a 61 Black Bison (four pickups). Now uses a Marquee Special, Black Bison Bass, Hank Marvin Special.
- Gaz Coombes (b.1976) has made notable use of a greenburst Custom Legend and a greenburst Club Series Marquee. He is lead guitarist and singer of the band Supergrass.
- Billy Bragg (b.1957) often played a greenburst Club Series Steer.
- Graham Coxon (b.1969) of Blur owns a blue Custom Elite Sonic.
- Ray Dorset (b.1946) from Mungo Jerry uses a Custom Elite Hank Marvin Signature and a redburst Club Series Steer guitar.
- Lupen Crook plays a Burns London 12 String. In keeping with his style of playing 8 string guitars he has removed all extra strings bar the B and high E.

- Alex Kapranos (b.1972) of the band Franz Ferdinand owns a redburst Club Series Double Six (12-string) Burns.
- James Lomenzo (b.1959), who has worked with artists such as Megadeth, David Lee Roth and White Lion has a black Club Series Bison bass guitar.
- Toby MacFarlaine (b.????), involved with musicians such as Graham Coxon and the band Thirteen:13. He uses a greenburst Club Series Marquee Bass.
- Hank Marvin (b. 1941) of The Shadows developed his own signature model, the "Burns Marvin" with head of the company Jim Burns. In 2004 reissue signature Marvin guitars were made. The reissues were used on The Shadows 2004 tour, but unfortunately the original Burns guitars Marvin had once owned were stolen in 1972 and never recovered.
- Brian May (b.1947), of Queen, had his homemade Red Special guitar issued as a replica version Brian May Signature guitar by Burns. However, he also owns a Club Series Bison 64.
- John Power (b.1967) from Cast with his white Club Series Marquee.
- Elvis Presley (b.1935, d.1977), played a black 1963 Club Series Double Six (12-string) Burns.
- Preston (b.1982), of the band The Ordinary Boys, has made use of a black and also a greenburst Burns guitar.

- Chris Stein (b.1950), the long standing guitarist of Blondie, has a Club Series Shadow and a Club Series Marquee Burns.
- Phil Solem (b. 1956) of the duo The Rembrandts and also the band Thrush, plays a distinct greenburst Burns Club Series Steer.
